From a single property survey to a complex refurbishment, we want to understand the buildings we work with, in order to make the most informed decisions and offer the most appropriate advice. 

With Cavetto, the work is undertaken by the owner, not delegated to other staff. Also, when we choose to recommend other experts to clients, it is because we know that they are right for your project. 

Cavetto is operated by Mark Smith, a chartered building surveyor with over 40 years experience in construction and property. He also holds an Honours Degree in Building Technology and Management and an MA in Historic Environment Conservation.
